Vapour blasting is simply the best way to prepare or restore surfaces in metals or composites with zero erosion and is in sharp contrast to older technologies (grit or sand blasting ) that etch the surfaces. Vapour blasting technology uses a combination of water and glass bead in a slurry under high pressure that removes the surface contaminants, but crucially does not affect the surface material, leaving a silky smooth finish to the original. This upgrade in method is ideally suited to the restoration community, as it gives a better finish and with our machinery provides the most environmentally friendly process as a bonus. I use the VHT technology VT800 professional machine that recycles the fluids to minimise waste and maximise the efficient use of water.

PRICING

Each piece of work is unique in that it will require attention to its condition before treatment. I have a price guide for industry norms, but do need to make an assessment before work commences. Therefore, please submit your enquiry online with photos for an estimate of costs. Pricing is in accordance with component and its condition.

AS GOOD AS NEW

Vapour honing is the best way to restore surfaces to as good as new condition, it does not etch the surface or change any dimensions of the subject.
